Lightbulb Side Window Rebuild

I am in the process of re assembling my side windows on my 310 referb project. I have the side window frames removed from the coach and have
all the nesessary parts to rebuild them. I had to remove the frames because one of the screws that holds the vertical bar that holds the stationary glass
had broken and the glass came out of the frame at the top front. My question is has anyone done this and have any tips for getting the glass back into the frame without breaking the glass I have cleaned up the frames and
have them painted. Once I put the stationary glass in place I can insert the window slide channel and the sliding glass then reinstall in the coach. If anyone has accomplished this feat I sure would like to get an idea on how they did it maybe I can learn something that will make it eaiser for me.
Thanks much If you can help!

I used a rubber mallet to seat the glass (a little soapy water for lube), then the bar. I didn't put the sliding glass in until I had the frame riveted in place (less weight to deal with).
