sHATTERED FRONT RT CURVED WINDOW

I have a 26' 1975 argosy. The curved front right window shattered out while under toe (I presume my tow vehicle though a rock.

What are my alternatives in getting it repaired?

Are there replacement windows? Can Lexan be used? What are the costs? Can I do the work Etc?

Shattered window

I have lost both of my curved front windows. I have been looking for replacements for 2 years and have not found any yet. I have put 1/4" plexiglass in place, but I am still looking for the windows. Last year I found a trailer rotting in someones yard, but it had the front windows broken. So far, after 6000 miles, the plexiglass works fine but I am eager to find some glass. Good luck.

Argosy Windows

Hi = We have a 78 Argosy Minuet. We were looking for Rock Guards for our front windows and in the process of research, learned that there is a replacement for those windows if broken. Not real cheap, I believe around $500-600 each and the color is now grey. You might search for a thread in the Argosy forums called "Rock Guards", as there was discussion in there. Also, at one time not too long ago someone posted that they had an Argosy that had rolled and were selling off the parts. Just some ideas. Leigh

PS The Rock Guard thread doesn't say much more about the curve windows than what I posted here, but does have a # for Charlie Burke (an AS dealer & Argosy owner) who might be able to direct you.

Colaws does have quite a bit of good glass but there are no Argosy trailers on the lot, and the oldest Airstream is an '86, I believe. If you know what will fit what they could sure help out.
