Bought one set of these online and claim perfect fit. They cover the opening but when it gets close to window there are huge gaps where you can see the rivets and such coming through. Looking for way to beatify this since the original plastic was brittle. Anyone else dealt with this?
Mine had U channel trim on the front edge but the glass to finish the edge. Like theistic below, you can put it on set it to fill the gap. Paint to blend in.
I think VTS or OODM may carry some as well.
U Chanel isn't going to fill that gap! That's crazy, I'd send that picture to the company you got them from and ask them wtf. Obviously trimmed too short.
To fill the gap you could possibly wrap some aluminum around the back of the window opening and rivet it on in a few places. Or trace the opening onto some foam board and cut a piece with a hole to match then paint it. It'll take some creativity at the very least.
