Removing rust from chrome window hardware

I've seen a few posts on removing rust from window hardware, but was wondering how you clean the chrome pieces (I think they are chrome).

For small chrome pieces, Flitz metal polish on a felt bob on a Dremel tool makes fast work if the surface area is small. For bigger pieces, go to Eastwood company's web site and look at the polishing supplies. They cater to the automobile restoration crowd but have lots of great stuff for Airstream rehabs.

Very fine (0000) steel wool works great and it is fast as well.
