Removing '78 Sovereign Windows

Please help me figure out how to remove window only, not frame to be able to repaint rust and change gasket. I took out the screens already. Thanks.

I want to remove them all and put new gaskets and make them look better as well as seal better.

Disconnect the lift arms.

Then raise the bottom of the sash and glass, so that the bottom is on the top, almost vertical.

The glass and sash will then drop out of the hinge connection.

Reinstalling is the reverse.

Use caution when reinstalling the front and rear window, making sure that the hinges are properly engaged. If not, you will snap off some of the rivets as well as damage the hinge when you lower it.

Thank you! It made me a little nervous. My windows work so well, I don't want to do anything to mess up the hardware. I appreciate the instructions.

window replacement

Hell Gang,
I have 2 windows that need replacement. The first is the kitchen window. I bought a replacement window from the RV salvage place in Arizona. The lifting mechanism is a little different. Do I still just lift it vertical and the windows can swap out? The original window is missing entirely. Can send oics if that will help.
Second window is one of those fixed oval side windows. I've unscrewed the trim from the inside and gotten to the gasket in the single pane frame. I have to be able to remove the inner strip that holds the gasket to be able to put a new glass in. How do I do that? it looks like there is some sort of clip at the top of that inner frame. Does it go sideways? just pry it out? it seems to hold the frame together.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks. feel free to call.
