Rack operators for '66 phillips windows

Looking for an alternative source or solution for the window rack operators that came on my 66 Sovereign Twin. I have replaced a few with the ones that were available from Vintage Trailer Supply, but they are telling me that

"Our distributor for this part is telling us that, unfortunately, the manufacturer is having difficulty obtaining a component they require to build this operator. The distributor is not able to give us an ETA at this time"

So, given that I have one already in need of replacement and another looking like it's on the way out, I thought I would post here to see if anyone has another source for the same operators (all I have found online are the jalousie window operators that are too small and upside-down).
Or as an alternative, anyone that has just forgone the original system for something easier to maintain and repair?

Thanks. I only saw threads here that reference the parts on VTS.

Garrett, Have you looked into having someone with a 3D Printer making some up for you? Just a thought. Ed

Welcome from Conifer.

Having once owned a 66 Trade Wind, I know the difficulty in keeping these goofy phillips operators going. I was lucky as my trailer's operators all worked okay after cleaning. VTS does a yeoman's job of tooling up thee old parts for us. I bet they will eventually be available. I am not aware of another window operator for these Corning frameless curved glass windows. Airstream used them for just three years and then went back to a framed window with a simple lever operator. This design is still used on new trailers today.

There are a couple of pretty good Airstream salvage yards around that might have a few of them for sale. Ebay is another possible source. I purchased an old Bargman L100 lockset on Ebay. Expensive, but it got me out of a jam.
