quick question about Vista View windows

I am probably trying to finish too many things before my planned trip at Easter.... but.... if I get the exterior sealed and gaskets finished on my windows, I'd like to tackle the vista views. I printed a few of the threads showing and detailing methods of removing the plastic inside panel to access and clean the remaining glass panel and deteriorated film. All the threads I read mention methods of breaking that inside panel - and the care needed to do so. I'm wondering if I could use the cutting wheel on my dremmel to just cut that plexi-pane out. Wouldn't that work? It would be so cool to have those windows looking sharp for my trip!!!!
