Procedure for removing a window?

I have a 1986 25' Sovereign. I want replace all the window gaskets. It looks like the best way to do this is to remove the window. There are two rivets in the rain gutter above each window that attach to small metal pieces that each bookend the hinge. I'm guessing that these pieces somehow hold the hinge in place and that I need to drill out the rivets, slide these pieces away from the hinge (or remove them). Then I can tilt the window and hinge out of its track. Do I have that right?

Thanks,
Scott

Don't drill until you send a picture.
That window should just tilt up to a hyper-open position, then lift out.
Please send a picture.

Remove the arms from the window so you can tilt it up about 165 degrees, towards vertical, and the hinge will separate. Do not drill. Be ready to support the weight of the window as it separates.

Keep track of which window goes in which frame. They are not always identical.

Thanks guys! The more I thought about it I figured I might just need to just disconnect the arms and hyper-tilt it as Zeppelinium suggested. I appreciate the help!
