Be careful opening those windows when they are stuck. My son-in-law tried to lever one out using just one of the two opening rods and the window shattered into about 5000 pieces. What a mess to clean up in a parking lot.

Fortunately the weather was dry for the trip home and I covered the window with cardboard for the week or so while I waited for a replacement.

The incident wasn't an entire waste, though. It motivated me to replace the deteriorated rubber seals on all the windows and the door. I even adjusted the latches so the windows would close more easily.

I used some of my wife's baby powder (---I never told her!) on the rubber gaskets and the windows were still working smoothly at the end of our last Florida safari. Plus that, it sure smelled good when you opened them up! On the other hand, they had started to stick again last summer.
