Need Vista View window snap ring

Restoring my 75 Sovereign. Resetting the Vista View windows now and I'm missing one interior snap ring. Any idea where I can get one?

Did you find a replacement for your Vista window ring? I'm having the exact same issue!!
At a loss where to find one or an alternative resolution.

No. Never found a replacement retaining ring. I'll probably have to try cutting one from sheet aluminum.

I went to metal mart and got a piece of aluminum the same guage as the snap ring and traced a pattern and then cut it out of the aluminium piece. Lots of work to sand and grind smooth and straight but it worked and hard to tell from the others. You do need to carefully bend it a bit bigger so it will snap in. Worked for me

You may well be able to find suitable snap rings at McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/snap-rings?...Box=snapl+ring).

You only need a snap ring if you are putting the inner plexi window back in.

Leave it out and glaze the tempered glass in sikaflex.
