I might take one to work and see if anyone thinks they can make it. Then if that doesn't pan out, I will try a couple of places around town. Somehow it seems a person could start a business replicating this hard to find items. I appreciate the information and direction.

It's all about the cost and how many would sell over a given period of time.

Our history indicates that maybe, just maybe, about 6 of those knobs would sell per year.

So if a person sold six per year, each for $2,500, a profit couldn't be made?
