I'm all for them!! I will put them on the following;
Furnace vent, water heater vent, range hood vent and if I can the fridge vent (top and bottom) and plumbing vents.

There are several different "mud dauber" screens available, especially for the Suburban furnaces.

They go for a little over $20.00.

Suburban does not recommend installing mud dauber screens on furnace vents, but I installed them on mine. I talked to another AS owner who had mud daubers build nests in his furnace blower. A big repair bill to pull and clean his furnace. Guess you could remove the screens during the winter months.
