Jalousie for dummies?!

I'm wondering if there is any type of tutorial out there about rebuilding jalousie windows? My Bambi II has one in the door that has two panes that need replacing & all the seals need replacing. I tried to open up one end to see if that was how to replace the glass & promptly broke the end piece off i can't slide it out the back because there's a frame in the way. How does one go about removing the glass? Do I have to remove the entire unit from the door to redo it? I've attached pictures of it & would love to hear all the advise you have! Thanks loads....!

I'm sure you'll get more useful responses from people with actual experience, but from your photos it looks like you'd be able to slide the pane up and out of those holders if you had the window in the almost-closed position. It looks like that might give enough clearance to get the pane out of the clips before it hits the inside frame. It would probably take 2 people to do that without risking dropping and breaking a pane, though.

You were right! They had to be almost closed to get them out. Now here's hoping I can find a new piece or something for the piece I bent off Thanks!
