With 3d printing all the rage. I'm surprised someone isn't printing unobtainium parts.

You thought of making a frame/surround out of aluminum Aerowood? You have the technology you can make it faster, stronger than before.

As a matter of fact I have given it some thought. No matter how I look at it, welding will most likely be required, I just don't think that I can stretch the corners without splitting the aluminum. Ive also though about making some forming blocks and using "O" materiel but the blocks would most likely cost more to fabricate then welding. I am still letting my mind work this over, but they WILL be aluminum in order to match the center window trim. Most likely what will happen is I will use some thinner, shorter leg extruded angle that I can stretch around the corner and then rivet a wider face piece to it. The welding option would be less work though, and look nicer.

Update.
We have an old left and right single pane wing window closeouts.
They need to be jazzed up, and then molds made from them, for fiberglass replacements which will also be Gel coated ivory.
A couple more weeks and we should have them in stock.

Well maybe Andy will come to the rescue. So Andy, you are going to make your own molds from original parts?

Please set aside one each LH/RH for me!
Also, I'm working on modifying NEW visa view window closeouts to fit. Quite a bit of work, and removal of material to accommodate but, so far, I think it will work well.

Perry.
We have outside contractors make some parts to our specs.
We will have the single pane wing window closeouts in a couple of more days.
Samples have been provided and approved.
The closeouts are thin fiberglass and are gel coated ivory color.
We assigned part numbers 34715 and 34717.

What's the chance they'll fit on the double pane? Need modification to work?

We most likely will add the double pane wing window closeout sometime in the future, depending on the demand.
In the meantime, you can cut a little off the fiberglass that rests against the glass.
