hmm I'm guessing maybe I have double pane windows and the outside pane is broken and not replaced.

Joe,
I think the Out-of-Doors Mart and Inlandrv both stock that window.

Only single pane windows available, for your year they are clear, starting I think about 79 they were tinted a solar gray.

You can go to a dealer and order it but it will be very expensive. I did for my 69 and I got it but it was pricy..

All 1969 windows are in a class by themselves.

The opening window hinges, have not been available for about 30 years. If you need to replace an opening window on a 69 trailer, you can easily optain a later year window, BUT you must change the hinge. If you attempt to install a 1970 and up opening window on a 69 trailer, you will shear off the hinge rivets, the first time you lower the window. So, do not dispose of the broken window framing.

The 69 wing windows, are expensive, indeed. Part of the reason is that they have 3 square corners. That is the only year with that design, fortunately. They definitely easily fit in the "BUMMER" class.

Clear glass wing windows cost less that the tinted glass versions, but are not available for every year.

The double pane wing windows have been history for years. However, they did serve as a nice skinny fish tank.

But, the double pane wing windows that have water in them, can be easily drained, by carefully drilling two holes near the bottom of the framing.

Andy
