How to remove window hardware 1968 overlander?

all,

2 of my curved windows are plexiglas and i will be replacing them with new curved glass - i need to remove the channel/hinge that holds the glass so i can work on removing the tons of glue that prevents me from removing the last bit of plexiglas in the channel.

can someone please explain or point me in the direction of a post with photos please?

thanks in advance

Where are you exactly? Have you removed the windows from the trailer?....or are you at the point of removing the glass from the hinge on the bench?

I have one window still in place with plexi and I found a nice used window with upper hinge attached as pictured in previous picture. I was hoping to remove complete plexi and hinge and replace with this one.

yes i removed the plexi glass window from the hinged hardware and replaced it with new curved glass. i posted a thread on removal which was difficult because of all the glue that was used when previous owner installed plexi glass

Groovzilla has a really good thread in the Overlander 1968 tab dated 11/26/13 titled 68 Overlander window removal. Lots of photos.
