I have recently started my first renovation on a 1966 Overlander Twin and am a bit stuck on how to remove the glass from the lower window to the left of the door. I want to replace the seal and clean off the old film.
Any help from you experienced lot out there would be most appreciated.
I would guess that your 1966 is similar to my 1968. My stationary windows are held in by a rubber insert on the inside of the glass. There is a caulk or butyl of some sort between the glass and the channel they are in. You must remove the rubber inside strip, then try to free the glass from the bedding. The rubber insert is available from Vintage Trailer Supply. Good luck! If the glass breaks, you do not have to use tempered for the replacement.
