how do you install window clips?

I have new window clips for both Corning and VTS replacement glass, now...how do I install them? Is there any special trick? Glue, tape, spit?

Any tips before I venture into this would be appreciated.

Ever forward,

Removing old clips from windows

Ingrid, First find your WD-40 and spray the clips that are rusted on the old glass. Let it soak in about 15 minutes and gently push down with a flat blade screwdriver to loosen the clips on the glass. Once off the edge of the glass then slide a wire coat hanger into the gap between the bottom of the clip and the glass. Put enough hanger through so you can bend it into a finger loop on both ends with 3" of hanger hanging down on both sides of the clip and pull down with two fingers until the clip releases from the window. Voila' you have remove # 1 then on to the next. Unbend one end and repeat the previous steps. Clean the windows with ammonia and then windex and install new clips w/adhesive. Ed
