How do you get curtains off the railing?

We have a 2001 30' Excel with white curtains that need to be dry cleaned.

We cannot figure out how to get them off the railing (see photo)

Any advice?

The end of the rail may have a plastic clip that has either a screw or robot in it. Remove the clip and the plastic curtain guides should slide out. Some rail may just have a screw or something in absence of a clip.

I was sure hoping for an easier way.

Ours had a small screw at the end of the track... 2 screws removed and they slide out the end. You don't have to remove the whole track.

Very easy, one screw top and bottom.

But wait! before you take the curtains down find a way to mark each curtain as to where it came from in the AS and how that curtain should be oriented, up/down left/right. I didn't and misinstalled mine several times before we got it right. I thought it would be obvious. It wasn't when they were all nice and clean.

We washed our curtains ourselves by gently soaking them in soap and working the soapy water gently through them by hand, hand rinsing them, rinsing them again, and then squeezing them and letting them air dry. No shrinkage and all stains came out. Only problem was incorrectly reinstalling them. Good luck.

I have renovated several old airstreams I always wash the drapes in my machine with a little soap and bleach. Then I hang them out to dry. They can be reinstalled immediately after drying. they've turned out beautifully.

Argosy minuet 6.7 1978...I had to remove a shelf and unscrew one end. My rails must of been put in before cabinets. Quick job turned into all day. Ahh, the streaming way!

Ours had 1 screw on each plastic end cap either top or bottom. You just need a short stubby Phillips head screwdriver
