holes in screens

Does anyone else have screens that are 'sprouting' holes ? We have discovered numerous small holes in our screen door and other window screens. It seems as though the screening itself is simply disintegrating in odd places.
Now what ?
We have a 2008 27' FB Special Edition Safari.

I haven't heard of that one before. We replaced the original screen on most of our trailer a couple of summers ago.

Perhaps it was a cleaner that was used on them at some point?

Questions: are the screens made from a plastic material? Is this problem occurring on ALL of your screens?

if they are nylon screens, grass hoppers love to eat holes in them, i have found.
had holes on my screens and was watching a grass hopper on my screen one day and he or she was eating a hole in the screen.
