Help -Window glass sticking to seal

I installed all new rubber seals/gasket to the window frames in my Caravel but now my glass is sticking to it so the windows can't open. I have finally got them separated but I don't want to leave the windows cracked open.

What should I apply so they don't stick????? I did order the correct seals from Vintage Trailer Supply and they are a perfect fit. It is hot in AZ but this is crazy.

Suggestions welcome.

Repeating Rich: 303, again and again and again. Ours now open easily, but I read this treatment should be performed annually. When stuck, open from the outside using a credit card, or like device. Ours were superheated in the closed position, in a fire. This worked for us, but did loose 2 seals before asking for advice.

Thank you for confirming the use of 303 aerospace uv protectant. I will start looking for some today! This has been a very unique experience. Thank goodness I still have some of the window seal material left. I may have to re-do one or 2 areas prior to applying the non-stick. I really appreciate both replies.

Any pure silicon spray will work. I've heard good things about 303, which is available on Amazon, but I have Silicon and it works. It takes some repeated applications, and I clean the seals first with a little dish soap and water on a paper towel, then spray the silicon on a paper towel and apply.

303 or silicon, I have used both and both work. Use often for best results.

Window poppers are another great solution. Even with silicon, ours are still hard to open and these work great to break the seal. Not sure if they fit older Airstreams. Might want to check before ordering.

Or use your drivers license to stick between the window and the seal to help you open them.

I know, high tech...

I've cleaned and lubed mine a number of times, and they still stick. After I gave up, and the seals got covered with dirt and pollen, they work fine.

As you can see, this is a common fact of Airstream life. All of the suggestions are helpful.

I second this.

These do work well. I have installed 5.

Use baby powder. Keeps windows from sticking to weatherstrips on your Airstream and lubricates door glass run channels in your car. Works like a champ. Baby powder is a must-have for every tool box.

Believe it or not, talcum is a lubricant.

Just another thing that Airstream has been screwing up for decades and seemingly has no intention of ever fixing. Windows that stick. Tell me again why we think this is the best RV ever? We have windows that I cannot open at all, and Windows that even my Chris struggles to open, or shut for that matter. You would think that after this many decades Airstream would have fixed it. So why haven't they? I don't think they give a crap.

Chris says a dry silicone, or graphite powder works best.

We find that Silicon spray works fine, easy. BEST one we ever used is WD40 Silicon [not the oil]. Black and yellow can, flip top with permanently affixed nozzel. Regularly apply to all metal on metal [awning slides, etc] all windows, the window opening slides, and the metal flip up fasteners at screw-on. Great for all hinges, and of course, the hitch and trailer jack. Can find at Walmart, not in the oil dept, but separately, usually in the auto section. Home Depot also carries it, both about $6.
