I am now attaching new inner skin panels to my 1952 Silver Streak Clipper. As the PO did extensive non factory mods, gutting and installing a lot of crazy windows, I have no reference to the inner trim the factory installed.
Here is an example...
My Hehr Jalousies are thick enough to fill the 1 1/2 inch outer to inner skin spacing. The Hehr Standards are not even close.
Any pictures of either Airstream or Silver Streak interior Hehr Standard, I have a single and a dual pane interior pictures will help me deal with this jig saw puzzle.
Also the original panes measure around 0.100" thick, I will be using acrylic for new panes, 0.125" and 1/16" acrylic is easy to find and I know 3/32" is out there, should I stick with 0.125" ? Or search for 3/32"?
