Fuzzy Schlegle Channel

Inland RV part #34696
Has anyone replaced this type of channel in their RV? A lot of my windows are hard to open and I think that by replacing this channel, it will make then easier to open and close. Is this a hard to do job? How do I take the measurements for this. Will it come preformed or will I have to do this myself? Would this be a good time to retint the windows?
TIA,
Darel

Darel.

The schlegle channel is "U" shaped. You can see it on our web site.

Making the radius corners is no problem. You must, however, install the channel with Super weatherstrip adhesive.

Measurements are not necessary. All we need to know is how many windows at a given height.

You should also replace the gray trim seal and the vertical lip seal, along with the schlegle channel.

Andy,
I would like to get a price on the fuzzy schlegle, trim seal and verticle lip seal along with the adhesive for installing the fuzzy schlegle. I have 3-24" windows, 4-30" windows and the driver and passenger side front sliders are 30" high. I was also wondering if detailed instructions came with the schlegle? I would hate to re-invent the wheel on this job.
