Design ideas for '69 interior window trim

Ok, so hours of search have been fruitless in my quest to find replacement interior trim for the jalousy windows in my '69 Tradwind. As there was no trim when I purchased, I ended up guessing on dimensions and design when I custom built each one from 1/8" masonite (pain in the rear). I recently bought window fuzzies to keep out all the insects but realize by design was flawed as they do not fit properly and that they will need to be rebuilt.

I am sure I am not the only one with this problem. What have other people done to replace their window trim? Materials? Methods? Does anyone have a digital to-scale pattern for what they are supposed to be? If so, I could scale and print it real size on a plotter. What other models/years would have the same trim that could be swapped? It seems like 69 is the first year they started this kind and seems to change somewhere in the 70's?

On a side note: If anyone has some available, I would be VERY interested in purchasing.

My 63 Overlander had lousy windows. I mean jealousy windows. lol. I don't know if they are the same as on your 69 though. Mine just had a pieces of aluminum angle as the trim.

Airstream last used jalousie windows in 1964.

You can install the regular screens to help, but they are expensive.

The part you seek has been history for over 40 years.

Correction: I guess I do not me jalousie windows. Misnomer. What I am referring to are the rounded upward-swinging side windows that open with the bars on each side.

The trim on a 68 is just thin flat strips of aluminum with the same finish as the walls.
You can buy a sheet of light guage aluminum, take it to your local sheet metal shop (of if you have a friend in the HVAC business who makes his own duct work) and they can trim as many strips as you want on their big metal shear. They would be straight and clean and it would not take long. Actually they might be able to order the aluminum for you, it depends on the size shop. Then, paint the strips to match the wall and rivet them on just like the original strips.

1968 Airstream trailer had screen on each opening window, but never metal strips.
