curved glass window for '66 Tradewind

Medium-sized curved glass window in my 66 Tradewind was recently shattered. Vintage Trailer Supply will not have them available for about 2 months. Is there another supplier for this type of window. My husband replaced the broken window temporarily with plexiglass but I would sure like to get a window back in as soon as possible. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kelly

You might try Inland RV. They have the temepered glass windows listed in their on-line catalog and may have what you need.

Good luck with your investigation!

We replaced the kitchen window in our 67 just a month ago with product from Inland. (The curved glass windows are specific to 66-68, I believe.) It fit well; it came with glue and weatherstripping; and its price was less than that advertised from Vintage. We're happy campers.

I rebuild Airstream double pane windows here in my shop. I convert double pane windows to single. I remove the old inner panes and use the outer panes for the conversion. I have several inner panes as extras. They are about 1/8" smaller than the outer and slightly thinner as well, but I'm sure they would work. I'm also here in Kansas (Wichita). Might be worth the trip..to investigate???

Mike.

66, 67 and 68 windows have square corners.

The radius corner windows that you have, would leave huge gaps in all 4 corners, if installed on a 66, 67 or 68 Airstream.

The original glass is still available.
