curved front windows can be thermal sealed

Hi I just wanted to add some information to anyone who is pulling out the curved front windows on the older style trailers. They can be thermally sealed. I removed mine after reading all the related threads.

Rather than spending lots of time using wedges to pry the glass apart I used a utility knife to cut through the butyle tape then just used my hands to pull them apart. I scrapped most of the old tape off then used goof off to clean them up.

My glass guy used the old frame to make the insulated liner follow the angle of the glass. He then put them together using standard methods. If anyone does these window do not break out the inside glass simply take them to a glass shop or contact Dixie Glass in Stephens City , Virginia and ask for Vernon, you can arrange to have him do the work.

Note to all: the larger of the glass panes goes on the outside, it will not work the other way around , I found that out four hours later when it suddenly dawned on me that they had been put together incorrectly.
