Cleaning Exterior Glass

We just purchased a 2016 Sport 16 and when I opened the tinted rock shields in the front, there was some sort of residue on the glass underneath. The residue didn't come off with soap and water or glass cleaner. Is there anything else I can try on the glass to remove the residue (kind of a cloudy stain that looks like it ran down from above the windows). I didn't want to try something too strong that might damage the glass or the aluminum below the glass. Any thoughts?

Is the residue on the outside or is it between the panes of glass?

I had the same residue in the same place on my 2016 Classic. I finally used a single sided razor blade - did the trick!

It's not on the plexi solar shields, but on the outside of the tempered glass of the two curved windows.

I had some sort of residue on the vision panel in the entry door. I tried soap and water as well as glass cleaner.

Yesterday, I used GooBGone on a paper towel. At first I could feel the residue but within a minute, it was coming off. After, that treatment, I washed the wind with soap and water. Then a quick wax coat.

All is well now.
