can anyone identify this window? / '56 Flying Cloud

I promise that I tried to do my homework as best I could before bothering you guys with the basics, but I was wondering if anyone could direct me to the correct replacement window for the one seen in the photo below.

A rough measurement puts it at 29 3/4" x 13 3/4" (measuring from opening-to-opening), but I can't seem to find anything close that size on Hehr or eBay / etc.

Thoughts?
Many thanks -

Only if you can find one from another Airstream - you won't find a new one to replace it... I had a window worse than that on our 58. You need to remove it, take the glass out, do some metalurgy on that frame to straighten it out... and then go get another piece of flat glass to replace the broken piece.. alot of labor.. trust me... my window was broken out at International during the VAC concourse and I just had to replace my glass.. actually, in Wisconsin, I had to replace it with plexi as they did not have safety glass that thin in stock. Good luck!

Ben,

They do show up on Ebay, in various sizes. They were common on many different trailers in the 1950's and in many sizes. I have four different sizes on my Liner, not counting the front and rear windows.

Keep looking, I have found replacements.

Bill

tempered glass

I had my local glass shop replace the glass. It was a special order tempered glass...from a supplier he had. I would imagine any glass shop has the same suppliers.....just have to get that shop to put a little effort into it.
