broken left curved CCD Bambi window?

This morning i was preparing the Bambi for a long awaited trip, (we were leaving in a few days). i opened the front curtain, and was surprised to see the left curved window was completely spidered. Tiny pieces. There was no damage on the lexan guard.
i have no idea what could have caused it. Bambi had been still since February. Any ideas on a quick fix so i can salvage some of my vaca?
thanks

Call your insurance company. They cover glass losses.

We usually have those windows in stock.

First bump down the road and you will have a trailer full of glass. This has happened to me with company trucks when I go off road to some remote locations. A roll of duct tape will keep the wind and dust out. Take some pictures before it falls out, you may need then for your insurance company.

Window replacement can be handled by experienced Airstream dealers. In your area I'd probably trust Oasis RV in Tucson the most. Anybody know about the NMex dealer listed at airstream.com?

The guys at Holiday Trailer in Albuquerque are very good. Got my Sovereign back in the road after I discovered that a "Low Overhang" sign I ignored deserved more attention...

Ask for Andrew. He's the lead tech (and part owner).
