Alternate Window latch

southco model 62-10-21

About $12

McMasterCarr

Amazon - Amazon.com: Southco Inc SC-6211 Lift-and-Turn Compression Latch Grip Range .08 to .47 Pawl Forward - 1.25 to 1.66 Pawl Reversed, Southco Lift and Turn Latches: Industrial & Scientific

Ried
etc....

I am ordering one to test, but it seems to be the same specs and size as the OEM except for a slightly longer lever

Dont let the dogleg pawl fool you , it is much flatter on the 62-10-21 and there is the option of using your old pawl

Quite a savings over originals if they work out...

Skinny on the 12$ latch..

Works perfect with two requirements

1. use your old pawl
2. optionally trim the threaded pawl stem ( if required )
