Airstream logo on screen door
I saw a cool/fancy Airstream script written logo on a screen door. I was wondering where one would purchase it? I wonder if it would fit our 2016 22 ft. Sport. Thanks.

One version is a standard accessory from Airstream and available from most of the Airstream part suppliers, for example screen door guard

Sure wish that David still made these. No one else out there who makes them?

Has anyone installed on of these? We have a FC 23 and the original door guard holes do not line up with this OEM part. Interested in how to mount?

It will work on the outside, plus no empty holes and you can still see it with the screen closed..... if seeing it matters to you.

We mounted ours on the inside so we can see it with the door closed. Yes, we have a couple of empty holes in our screen door frame now because they don't align vertically with the original, but we don't care. I suppose we could just put screws in the holes if we did.
BTW, pretty sure David Winick still makes custom door guards, though I don't know whether he still makes that particular one: http://www.vintagetrailering.com/acc...nd%20stuff.htm
Give him a shout, maybe he can do that one too.

Do you have the one pictured above or one of Davids? I emailed him and his email on that page no longer works. Not sure how else to contact him?

Thanks! Now that I see it mounted that way the writing would be backwards if mounted on the inside.

We have one of David's custom door guards with "Casa Rocinante" on it.
Sent you a PM with the last email he used when communicating with us about our custom order in Sept 2014. If he's willing to take your order that way, great! If he's also cool with you sharing that email address (or a better one) publicly here, then you can do so.

When we mounted our door guard on the inside, we flipped it so the writing looks great when we're sitting at the dinette looking out the door. People on the outside would see it reversed unless our screen door is latched open along with the door.

FYI, on his Vintagetrailering.com website I noticed David publicly posted another email address for inquiries about vintage trailers he'd customized:
info@vintagetrailering.com
Maybe that one works?

Never got a response from David on all the email addresses. Can someone confirm he is still in business?
