I would like to replace the wing window in my 1969 Tradewind. However, it seems the window trim for the interior is not available. The interior trim piece is in bad shape. Also is the costly replacement window glass or plastic?
The PO put a piece of plexiglass in the wing window and it looks really bad!

The wing windows for the 69's was a one year window with both bottom corners squared off. The wing windows for year 70 and on all had the outside lower corner rounded off. Finding a 69 wing is difficult at best and is the main reason it is replaced with plastic. The 70 and older wings will work but a small filler has to be riveted in the lower outside corner to fill the gap.
The interior trim piece is also un-obtainable but I had heard that Inland RV was going to make replacements, but don't know if they ever did.
