79 Excella MH front side glass

Needed to replace all rubbers on pass/driver windows. Front glass is fixed, back glass slides. I have everything. After getting fixed glass out, frame sprung about 1/4” and having trouble getting fixed back in. Tried spreader, etc. seriously considering cutting the frame at the front corner weld to get it back together. Manual no help. Advice? Tricks? Anything? Really tough. Groove is very tight for rubber and glass and sliding it in impossible.

I suggest you post this over in the classic motorhome section as it will probably go unnoticed by the motorhome owners in this section of the forum.
