Search for "vista view"

Starker-
Welcome and good luck.. You're not alone with the problem...

As a new member, you now get to learn and use the "Search" tab above... Just type in the words you're looking to learn more about, and - Presto - lists of relevant threads will appear...

The little windows are often called Vista View windows, and you can search on them and oval and small and see several threads where eople have removed and replaced them.. Not easy, but do-able... Drills, rivets, Vulkem sealant and patience are all required....

vista view window

Starker, If you are near Bolingbrook, IL stop by the local Airstream dealer. They are Airstream of Chicago (US Adventure RV) at 535-South Frontage Road (just off I-55) on the right before the Bolingbrook Exit Rt. 53, if going north from I-80. Their phone number is 630-972-9700...Ask for Scott Mattera (tell him I referred you...Ralph Carver) I believe you can still get the window complete or just the glass from Airstream. You must however order it thru a dealer. If the Quad Cities is closer for you then you can call the parts manager, Ed in their Davenport, IA store at 563-468-4678. Again tell Ed I referred you. They are great to deal with and will help you however they can to obtain the parts you need. You may be able to get a shop sevice manual by checking the search function here and typing in manuals, service, to see if they are in print for your model year. There is a Secretarial Services that has many older manuals available to purchase. Hope this helps you. Ed
