'68 Window Screen Material

The material in a window screen I have from a '68 appears black from the inside but silver from the outside. It's easier to see out than in, with the silver almost acting like a one-way mirror. When I removed the screen, the silver was layered onto the black. Is this material still available?

The screen definitely wasn't painted. The attached pictures show the clear film, with the second showing some of the silver color. The color was only left around the edges, having faded in the center of the screen.
