'67 Sovereign Window Options

I just purchased my first AS and need some tips on what I should expect to pay for replacement windows. The front and rear glass is gone and 3 of the side upper windows. Should I buy new or hunt around for used? They currently have plex and are siliconed closed. Can I have a local place cut out the front/rear pieces? I assume those were originally flat?

Hi vhariable, Welcome to the forums! The front and rear are flat and you should be able to get them cut locally. To the best of my knowledge Inland RV Center - The Nations Leading Expert in Airstream Innovations is the only new source for the curved corning windows $$$. I bought mine at Vintage Trailer Supply - Vintage travel trailer parts and supplies! but I believe they are out of stock.

This link might help http://www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Articles.asp?ID=108

Good Luck!

Thank you for the great information and especially the glass installation link! I actually talked to Andy earlier today about replacement windows. I might try to call around to get quotes on the front/rear locally, but it looks like Inland RV will be a great source.
