'66-'68 Philips window latch....Help!
I have a 1968 globetrotter undergoing some intensive renovations. I am missing 2 Philips window latches. They have the steel tongue that come out to grab the window. I am missing one completely and I have one that the insides are all rusted out. Please let me know if you have any for sale or know where I can find them. I feel like I have looked everywhere! Thanks for the help.

Those parts have been gone for years.
All you can do is take one from the front or rear window, if it has 3 of them for that window.

When we got our '68 Overlander someone had screwed shut the window by the door and moved the two latches to somewhere else on another window. I moved them back to the window by the door, however that is an awkward window to have open being so close to the door. So maybe you could use those temporarily until you find something.
I think these latches need to be reinvented.
Good luck in your search.

I have seen them on eBay and found them at a site through google. So they are out there somewhere, keep looking. VTS has the clips.

Tom.
It's difficult to take a photo of something a person doesn't have.
We looked into that bracket replacement some 20 years ago.
The cost for the mold and production of a quality part would end up with a retail price of over $ 25.00 each, and only if we purchaed 1000 of them.
Some vintage parts, I am afaraid, will just be history.
Even the cost for the brass screw, which has a "double start thread" is crazy.
Someday, just maybe, something may pop up that would be a reasonable replacement.

I emailed VTS asking if they were the latches that secured the window to the trailer after the window is closed. - they said ;

That's great news! A couple of ours are in miserable shape, albeit still working for the moment.
