'66, '67, '68 Corning Window Clips

See for yourself the difference. One size does not fit all. VTS sells two different clips one for 1/8" thick windows and one for 3/32" thick windows. If your windows are original then they 3/32". The clip on the right is what I bought first from another source and was not a good fit for either window thickness. Very happy with the VTS clips.

So true, made the same double purchase from one source - they are not cheap.

Squeezing the clip makes it fit just the window glass.

Or, later on, you can add the metal edging if you wish, which makes them universal.

No need for any silicone.

Same here!

I too bought the larger clips. At the time they were all that was available. They do work if you squeeze them together, but it was just not the fit and finish I was looking for. So when VTS started to make them... as others have done I bit the bullet and purchased an entire new batch to FIT all my windows. I am very happy with them. Thanks VTS! Ed

Thanks for posting this information. I too have gone through this.

The first set of clips (not from VTS) were to weak and even with silicone to glue them to the windows I still had problems with the clips.

The second set of clips (from VTS) have been no problem and I did not need silicone. The clips from VTS are much thicker.

another interesting fact; the 1/8" clips vts sells will fit perfectly over original 3/32" glass with ss trim worked great on my 68.
