1979 Excella Driver/Passenger windows

I recently acquired a 1979 Excella motorhome. It's a fixer upper. Still 1979 within. Leaks in rear, windows that do open don't. Sealed shut. My plan is to get them working. All glass is just fine. Assume dig out grout, buy felt liner, maybe rubber liner. First timer at repairs. Learning as I go. Any help here on taking glass out. Haven't figured out which way the window in driver/passenger actually open, or how far. Both sealed, each sealed different than the other. Any help here will be greatly appreciated!
