1976 Tradewind window

Hello all:

Its bubble window time. YEAH...they are the biggest eyesore ever... YUCK.

And i cannot wait to get started...

But first...i need to re.insulate the door and windows...

What is the insulation i should use...??

I am thinking something more than stock... Anything at the hardware store?

Adhesive ideas?

Help.

I have seen the videos so i am ready to go...

Yup. The black tape foam stuff that goes along the outside if the window frames.

Are you referring to the gaskets (seal) around the window frame?
NO! On the foam stuff. The correct shape of the seal is important.

Yes. The gasket seal around the windows. Its foamy. spongy. Its black it is around all the windows and the doors...


Does anybody know where to find it in a hardware store?

I don't believe you will find the correct material in a hardware store.

I am looking for someone who has tried successfully another product. Not stock.

Which is vintage, odm and inland rv...

Anyone used anything different from the hardware store?
