1973 Argosy 26' curved front windows.

Hi Folks; Would anyone know how far does the glass protrude behind the riveted on frame on 26 Argosy. I need to rivet some fasteners to the outer curved glass window frame for attachment of my custom made rock guards. I would hate to drill into the glass and loose a window. If anyone knows how much glass is hidden behind the frame, please advise me. Thank you in advance. "Boatdoc"

I don't know if the above will help you out or not, but we, as can be read in the above post, are trying to add some "home made window protectors" ourselves. If you click on the pic, it will give you the chance to enlarge enough to see the snaps at each corner. So, at least, by getting the measurements of the snaps, it will give idea of adding rivets and not hurting glass, I think.
