1971 Overlander - Window Broken

The small window to the right of the door handle is broken out. The window itself measures 7.5x18.5 and the whole frame unit measures 20.5x9.75. I have been told that the Part # is 68250. Question: How do I replace the broken glass, where do I buy the glass, do I have to take the whole frame out? etc. Lost in Texas!

I would like to find the original hubcaps for the unit - does anyone have any?

Hi Phil,
Original hubcaps are hard to find, but they do show up on the forums classifieds from time to time. There are a few options with the window glass and sash. The window frame is the part that is riveted to the shell of the trailer. The sash holds the glass and is hinged at the top.
1. Buy a new sash from an Airstream dealer. Roger Williams CDJ, North Dallas RV, Out of Doors Mart and many others.
2. Find a used sash from someone parting out a trailer with the window the size you need. Try RV Revive in Iowa or Collaw's in Carthage, MO.
3. Replace the broken glass with Polycarbonate such as Lexan as a temporary fix until an original sash can be sourced.
To take the window sash off from the trailer, remove the two acorn nuts connecting the support arms to the sash. Lift the window up as if opening it and it will release from the upper J track of the window frame.

You have a damaged "stack window".

Stack and vista view windows are non-opening.

They are still available, frame (sash) and all.

Airstream uses 6 digits for their glass part numbers.

I will post the correct part number after I get to the office.
