1967 Caravel window hardware needed

Hello-
I am in need of window hardware for our 67 Caravel. I know the window clips and upper extending arm are available online. I have not yet found the hardware for the bottom of the window that attaches to the clips. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help!

Hi shiny67, Try e-bay or Air classifieds. Looks like from this thread here http://www.airforums.com/forums/f454...are-41156.html that Vintage Trailer Supply - Vintage travel trailer parts and supplies! will be producing the Phillips operators soon...
Maybe!?!

The part that reaches out has been history for many years.

Part of the problem in having them made again, is tooling costs.

We were quoted $20,000.00. There is no way that could ever be recouped.

What some owners have done, is look for a salvage unit somewhere, as that part was used in the 66-67 and 68 models.

Some other owners, that had 3 latches on the front and/or rear windows, robbed one for the window in need.

If indeed you have 3 on one window, remove the middle unit, and relocate the other 2 for proper hold down.
