i am trying to replace the broken windows on my airstream. itook the frames off by removing the set screw. both frame broke apart and seem to be seamed together at the corners by some kind of liquid metal.does anyone know what this is and where i can get some?

I had the same question...
Can they weld right over what appears to be solder?

A good welder can do what needs to be done to repair the frame...

We had the same done on some corners of our 65. We were putting some new glass in and figured we should ensure the corner joints are strong first. Had to check around for a bit to find a tig welder for aluminum as it's not a skill all welders have. For 20 bucks he trued up the corners as best he could then we added the glass and slid them back on.
