I have searched for 8 months and can not find a donor window frame. Has any one had one made. It's a simple flat glass 19" x 19 " hehr frame. Any suggestions beside coved up the window hole. Does any one out there make them?
Your best bet is going to be to find a donor trailer from the same era at an Airstream salvage yard like Colaw's, 5-Star, etc.. Being the owner of a '56, I feel your pain...they are not made "new" anymore, take care of the ones you have. Why are you missing one?

It took me six, maybe seven years to find two windows for our '55, and not at the same time. Your going to have to get ahold of some buyers/restorers that have this type of stuff laying around. I happened to find one (window) when buying something else Airstream related, and got to conversing with the seller on my window hunt. He didn't have one, but after a couple days he called and said he found one in the heap in his shop. Your going to have to sleuth this stuff out of the woodwork. Good luck with your search...
