Question Windows in the doors

I just purchased a 76 Sovereign.(nowindow in the door) When did Airstream start installing windows in the doors of the trailers? Did the Excella have the door window in 76 as part of the upgrade?

Yes the Excella was where they started, now they all have them. If you can find a window in the door of a pre wide body (pre93) trailer the curvature is the same. The only issue is you will have to do some work to have a shade in the door, unless you buy a whole door. This may be a part that can be bought new, but used will be cheaper.
