Where do I get one of these?

I'm missing my latch, that locks (and unlocks) the door from the inside.

It looks like this (the knurled thing on the left)

Any idea how I can get one? And does it just screw in?

Does it unscrew from the lockset? If so it may be just as easy to have someone turn on on a lath. I have had to reweld parts within my lock rather than buy some of the junk they have currently available.

On to the rant:

$34.95! My word. I think I'll buy a hundred machine screws from Home Depot, find the one that fits and return the rest before I pay $34.95 for a tiny hunk of metal.

But again. Thank you for your time.

My trailer came with a long machine screw and it works just fine. In fact, I never knew what the real thing looked like till now. Thanks!!

That's a good idea. You could add some of the plastic tubing to avoid the threads on your delicate fingers.

Smile

Can't use the word delicate when it comes to my fingers anymore....that would refer to my pre-airstream life. But I like the idea of adding the tubing as it would disquise the screw and perhaps discourage others from wanting to tighten it or otherwise mess with it. Thanks!
