Tweaked Door Hinge

Any ideas on weather this damage is repairable? Seems to be tweaked on the top hinge.
Thanks

Poor picture but it seems to be bent in 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch.

Those pics help... but, now, please explain a bit... seems you are missing the rest of the trailer...

Is the door 'pushed' into the frame or the top moved to the right (clockwise)?

From the pics, it looks like the hinge took a pretty good whack... that would certainly have a chance of disturbing the alignment...

Aluminum 'might' be worked back into position... carefully.

Airstream has a 'jig' they use for creating the door assemblies. That way they are consistent.. mostly. Then they mount to the shell, complete construction and, well, things move. That requires 'adjustment' as mentioned above.

There are 2 areas to consider checking... first, the hinges mount to the frame with bolts extending into the frame. Has that part shifted? You should have a good view with the door off like that.

Plenty of questions.. and more to help you figure this out... While this forum may be able to help you resolve your question, it may take a bit...

Thanks for that. This vidio will be very helpful when I get to my Argosy. For this door I think I will have to pull the skin off the inside and try to tweet that hinge door frame back. Hopefully I can get it close enough to adjust using his techniques . Can any one tell me I'm there is any dollar value to this door as is. It won't work for my restoration and I don't have the time to mess with it. At 3500$ for a new one it must be worth something.

Sorry i missed the last post. I got the door off a wrecked 2014 Bambi sport. The pictures are terrible but the door sits out about 1/2 an inch from the door frame on the top. I believe the frame is bent where the hinge attaches. You can see the crease in the skin of the door. I definitely think it is repairable. Thanks for the help

Yeah, it looked like it was off a hurt Airstream... you might be able to massage the wrinkles out... but that sounds like it is close to broken.

If you have an existing curve you can make an exterior 'mold' to hammer it from the inside out.. This will take some time to build, but... may save the door.

Not sure but I think the curvature of your Argosy is different than the curve of a 2014 Bambi. Hope it works for you. If you take the rivets out that hold the inner skin to the door frame, it is quite easy to get the door to match the frame. Then you re-rivet the inner skin.
