Are the finishes on those covers stainless? They look really nice.

Yes...all three are solid Stainless, great finish, packed really well and

fairly easy to install. Took almost as long to remove the plastic protective

coating off the new doors, and the water heater instruction sticker off the

old door as it did to install all three. Custom made by RW, been looking for

them for awhile with no luck. Very pleased with these........Bob

Great Airstream dealer!

David Tidmore, the Airstream manager for Williams is extremely knowledgable and resourceful. Before moving to VA from TX, he was our "Go To Guy" for all things Airstream. Last Winter we took our rig and left it with him over-Winter for several mods and upgrades, including the SS covers. A friend recently saw them and had me order a set for him from David. Word gets around about the good guys doesn't it?

Has David moved to Virginia, or is that a typo?

Great improvement! Can you order these off their web page? If so, do you have a link?

Boy, do those ever look good. I enjoy adding quality pieces where real craftsmanship is evident.

Now, if it's anything like the old days, when I'd put a set of shiny new mags on a beat up old hulk of a car I was attempting to make pretty, I'd suddenly feel like the power was greater, the gas mileage better, the girls were more interested, and my peers were afraid of being humbled at the stop lights . In this case, of course, your camping spots will be cleaner, wider, and with better views, your TV will get better mileage and be able to pass more trucks, and your water heater will heat better, quicker, and use less propane.

I need to take another look at the doors on the FC and make some changes as well. It's a good thing winter is soon upon us so I can spend my idle hours thinking of all the things I need to redo.

Barry

Stainless Steel Range Hood Vent

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like a good solution for my Safari that has the same problem.

How does the Roger Williams vent deal with the flap retainers? Does the vent seem to pass the same amount of air as the plastic one?

Thanks

Sorry gang...

Unfortunately RW AS is no longer in business....too busy with Politics I guess.

And yes the Dealership was as good as the ad.....if not better.

Great News!!!

Two months ago I tried calling couldn't get thru, checked the factory dealer list and they were no longer listed. Glad....great customer service.

Weatherford is where DH and I met and married 20 years ago. We stopped there on our way down to SA. Our AS was spanking new and we were having trouble with our dinette falling when DD was trying to lay down. I called RW for service and they said they would call the next morning and possibly come fix the dinette. Unfortunately they never called and didn't return any messages. We went to home depot and fixed it ourselves. I'll give them another try though.
