Thumbs up Stuck window latches on a '78

Anyone have ideas on how to un-stick the latches on the 78 windows? They look corroded and will not move to lock or unlock the window. They are the kind that turn and raise and lower a little bar that locks and unlocks the window. I have some that I can't get to move. Any suggestions.

remove the screens and you can 'tap' on them to break them free once you get the cam lock to open. Be very careful the locks cost close to $30.00 each to replace (60 bucks a window ) ad you could break the glass if you hit it with a hammer. I would also spray liberal amounts of penetrating oil, not WD40, but an actual oil on the moving parts and leave it sit overnight before getting too rough on it.

Kroil

Just like Brett said lots of penetrating oil.
I have had spectactular results with KROIL. Good if you can find it.
They also have some good products to keep them unstuck once you achieve unstuckdum...
The products which leave a dry lube are best in the long run. They won't gum up or attract dust and dirt.

Those things are an assembly of steel and pot metal castings and are easily broken. Do not get in a hurry. I am assured by experts that there are better products out there, but I have had excellent results with PB Blaster, and it is widely available at auto parts stores. Apply and allow to work overnight.
